These are not rules as such, but one psychotherapeutic technique that I find very useful and that quite literally saved my life not so long ago.
Its main task is to persuade. This is a lengthy process, and it requires dedication and perseverance. Hence, the rules should be treated seriously, read every day, and reflected upon. It will not be useful if you read it once and throw it away. The best way is to hang this list in your room, where it can always be seen. Just give it a try, and you will very soon realise that your life has become way easier.

1. Everything begins with emptiness but has to be filled up. Eventually.
2. To do whatever you want, wanting is not enough; there has to be a decision. Opportunities will only come forth in such a case.
3. If you want to change your way, you first have to stop. And only then start moving in another direction.
4. You pay for everything in your life. However, inaction carries the highest price tag. At times, it only reveals itself at the latter stages of our life's journey.
5. One who is always afraid of doing something wrong or making a mistake, without knowing it, makes the biggest mistake in his life.
6. Like is always attracted only to like. Nothing comes by chance in life. We do not bring to ourselves the people whom we would like to see around, but bring the people who are totally similar to us.
7. If you realise that the goal you set is unattainable, focus on other goals. Once they are achieved, attempt to go back to the first.
8. If you don’t ask anything of your life, it will give you nothing. If you ask for something abstract, then the gift will be such as well. You should always clearly articulate your desires.
9. There is no such thing as a 100% happy life. It's always constrained by our view of the world.
10. Are you striving for change? Then forget about passivity. Thus, it's exactly this that squanders the opportunity offered by fate. Draw a route and destination. However, to arrive there, you first have to hit the road.
11. Life always pushes you to solve those problems that you avoid solving. If a problem is not being solved now, it will be solved at another stage of your life. However, the solution will cost you more.
12. In life, there is always a choice. Sometimes, it's all about having no choice. The world is full of opportunities. But to get one thing, you always have to lose something else. Therefore, losses are inevitable. But they are always tantamount to a new acquisition.
13. Transformation is always a negation of the old. However, clarity is required, not only to destroy. It demands effort, time, and knowledge. You should at least vaguely understand what to build and how to build it. If such knowledge does not exist, it is better to refrain from destroying what you have.
14. A person wants to start a new life, but old prejudices and old ways of doing things stand in his way. They always attempt to bring him back to his customary pastime. Thus, alterations are provided very gradually and provoke profound emotional involvement.
15. It's respecting the principle “like attracts like,” and any of us attracts to ourselves a thing or a person we love, wait for or fear the most at this very moment since it's what our consciousness is concentrated on. You know, fate never gives you more than you can handle. Reach for more by stretching your abilities.
16. Life is all about the complete opposites. Some we love, others we hate. We are friends to some, while we are direct competitors to others. We are up and down; come in and go out. A person is in search of stability and, simultaneously, knows a feeling of frustration related to the measured flow of life. One cannot know heads without tails.
17. People strive for harmony. However, to obtain it, you first need to achieve inner harmony. It is about accepting one’s strengths and weaknesses, knowing one’s imperfections, and having internal peace. One's mind, actions, and feelings should act in unison.
18. We have to realise that the world was not meant for pleasure only. Too often, it does not coincide with our expectations and ideas. However, we should always endeavour to do well. Whoever cannot do this will never do anything from a proper place of good reception.
19. Whatever irritates you about other people, you have in you. We can use other people as mirrors. One simply needs to look at them closely. This way, we can learn more about ourselves.
20. If a strong desire to possess something enters your thoughts, this may indicate that you do not see your own abilities and worth. Just look at yourself closely; maybe you already have much more than you wish for.
21. Resisting negative thoughts is a very difficult thing to do. They make you suffer and worry. Pick one from this negative "swarm" and suppress it. Like this, you will break the vicious circle, and it will no longer annoy you to that extent.
22. Be okay with who you are. It is then that your anxieties, worries, and complexes will disappear, and you can start again to live a full life.
23. The world is completely neutral. We are the ones who make it good or bad. Speaking of things we should constantly strive for, it is necessary to remember to perceive reality positively, and it will eventually become happy and full of joy.
24. Do not base your beliefs on the opinions of others as if they were the absolute truth. One can’t be good to all. There will always be detractors. Don’t let them win.
25. All of us come from somewhere we do not know and go somewhere we do not know. Then, perhaps, the sense of our being is simply being alive and doing our best to demonstrate this life to ourselves?
Simple rules, aren't they? However, they still make a very good impact on one's worldview. They’re fairly easy to follow, and they provide priceless benefits!
